The Local 705 International Brotherhood of Teamsters Health & Welfare Plan is a Multiemployer Taft-Hartley Plan established to provide health and welfare benefits to collectively bargained members of Teamsters Local Union 705. The Plan and its assets are managed by a joint Board of Trustees equally represented by labor and management. Plan assets are placed in a trust fund. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall operation and administration of the Plan.

The Board of Trustees is pleased to offer the members of Teamsters Local 705 a comprehensive Health and Welfare Plan.

The medical benefits program is provided to all active participants, eligible dependents, and eligible retirees. The plan of benefits to which participants and their dependents are eligible is determined by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement under which they are employed.

Except for instances of self-payment of a participant’s contributions to continue benefits, these programs are financed by employer contributions as determined by the current Collective Bargaining Agreement between various participating employers and Teamsters Local 705.

The staff at the Teamsters Local 705 Fund Office is dedicated to providing all Local 705 participants with quality service and is available to answer your questions regarding the Local 705 Health and Welfare Plan.
